The Beausoleil has been a firm favourite and each new vintage heralds the warm weather to come and is as it should be, definitely a wine and definitely a pleasure. We think that all you really need is a blue sky for rosé even if it is February.
There is the sun of the Mediterranean in our new cuvée, the colour is pale pink, (dare one think of the pale pink flamingos in the étangs along the coast?), the wine is fresh with a little salinity, pale red fruits, with balanced and refreshing acidity, there always tends to be a second glass, voilà!
Originally created by the owners of the famous Smithfield Bar and Restaurant in London, England to supply quality wines under their own label ‘St. JOHN Wines’. The owners purchased a winery in southwest France and worked closely with passionate local vignerons in the town of La Liviniere, to produce small-production quality wines.
